7 Shows You Have to See in Las Vegas

By September 2, 2015 No Comments

Many travelers to Las Vegas know that beyond the smoked filled casino floors the entertainment in Vegas is top notch. From household name residencies, incredible circus acts, hilarious comedy, and jaw-dropping magic and illusion, the city is filled with variety. Add in the music festivals and world tours, Las Vegas is the perfect place to take in a show. With so many shows, we decided to share seven of our favorites.

Mac King Comedy Magic Show

A great (and very affordable) afternoon show at Harrah’s Las Vegas, Mac King combines his unique quirky humor, with visual gags, incredible sleight of hand magic, and his signature retro plaid suits.

Right outside of Caesars Palace under the big tent is Absinthe. You won’t be stepping into your ordinary circus-tent…you’ll be stepping into a world of crude, off-color, raunchy jokes, filled with insane acrobatics and stunts.

Terry Fator

The voice. The talent. The entertainment. Terry Fator has obtained a level of impressions, singing, and ventriloquism that is beyond words. Located in The Mirage Hotel & Casino, Fator entertain audiences with an incredible show (that is relatively kid-friendly).

Penn & Teller

One of my all-time favorite magic acts is located at the Rio Hotel & Casino just off the Las Vegas Strip. Penn & Teller share some of the most cutting-edge tricks and illusions that magic has to offer, while sprinkling in doses of humor and comedy, their combined showmanship displays a truly remarkable level of talent and skill.

Jersey Boys

Hailed as one of the best shows in Las Vegas, Jersey Boys takes you on a journey across the country and follows Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons–four blue-collar kids trying make their way from the streets of Newark to the heights of stardum. Located at Paris Las Vegas, Jersey Boys is a must for any musical fan.

The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil

Sensational. If you’re a fan of The Beatles and you’re in Las Vegas, you must see this show! Located at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, you will step into a world that is beyond Cirque du Soleil and into a psychedelic roller-coaster that swept an entire world off their feet.  The Beatles LOVE sings some of the most iconic songs while incredible high-flying acrobatics commence in incredible costumes, themes, and rhythms.

Le Rêve – The Dream

If you only have time and money for one show in Las Vegas go to Le Rêve – The Dream at the Wynn Las Vegas. You will not be disappointed. In an intimate circular theater the show bridges the gap between water and air. Incredible dives, athleticism, you’ll believe anything is possible when you’ve finished watching the dreams imagined unfold in front of you.
