Upon arriving in Las Vegas this past weekend, we wanted to try out one of our favorite Food Network stars, Guy Fieri, and his menu at his Vegas Kitchen and Bar, which opened last year. The restaurant is located at The LINQ Hotel and Casino, which is where we stayed. We were excited to check it out and see what the host of Triple D has been cooking up.

4. Fun Atmosphere

Guy’s place sits on the north entrance of The LINQ and features a fun atmosphere full of what you’d expect to find if you traveled with Fieri on one of his Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives excursions. Even the table settings had Guy Fieri written all over it with signature skulls and rock-n-roll Americana vibe.

3. Great Service

We braved the wind and the blaring music from the Carnaval Court to stretch out our legs and enjoy some people watching. Our server quickly came over and got us started with some waters as our party of six chose their drinks and food items. The waiter was personable and friendly, which was very impressive considering it was past eleven. A few days later, we saw our server throughout the course of an 8+ hour shift as we walked between The LINQ and Harrah’s. We could tell he hadn’t skipped a beat. In a city where the expectations of tireless pampering and hospitality exist, the quality of his service really stood out.

2. Tasty Cocktails

Some members of our party ordered premium house cocktails, including a delicious 52-ounce punch bowl of Kentucky Rock’r which included Buffalo Trace bourbon, apple juice, fresh lemon sours, maple syrup, angostura bitters. The price tag was $30, but happily served the whole table.

1. Bacon. Mac-N-Cheese. Burger.

The Happy Hour menu is condensed down to the most-popular food options that Guy’s servers. But that didn’t damper the mood. I picked Guy’s award winning Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger (only $14) which is loaded with crispy applewood bacon, six-cheese mac ‘n’ cheese, LTOP (lettuce, tomato, onion + pickle), SMC (supermelty- cheese) and donkey sauce are stacked on a garlic-buttered brioche bun. It was awesome!

If you’re looking for American comfort food for a reasonable price, check out Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen and Bar at The LINQ, you’ll be glad you did.
