6 Cocktail Bars & Lounges You Need To Visit in Vegas

By January 1, 2018 No Comments
It doesn’t matter whether you are staying on The Strip or Downtown, there is a cocktail waiting for you in Las Vegas. While Vegas seemingly has an unending supply of alcohol, not all cocktails (and bars) are created equally. Here are six cocktail lounges and bars, each with their own style and flavor, you have to try next time you visit Las Vegas. While they are listed in no particular order, the first two are personal favorites.

1. Chandelier Bar

The Chandelier Bar is both class and elegance, shaken and stirred. One of the top-rated cocktail lounges in the city is nestled in the middle of The Cosmopolitan spanning over three floors. Each layer offers a different vibe and menu. It provides one of my favorite atmospheres in Las Vegas and never lets me down. If you’re up for an adventure, order the off-menu Verbena.

2. Atomic Liquors

It’s a chill dive bar with a historical past. This one is a personal favorite. Located in Downtown’s Fremont East, Atomic Liquors is the oldest freestanding bar in all of Las Vegas. Their menu offers a full range of cocktails, food, and draft beer. If you’re in town for the Life Is Beautiful Festival, this is a must.

3. 107 SkyLounge

You will see some of the best views of the city and sunsets here. The Stratosphere’s 107 SkyLounge sits atop the city and offers a full menu of delicious cocktails and drink options. Plus, they have a great happy hour! Perfect for a romantic setting, catching up with friends, or getting the evening started.

4. RHUMBAR

Just behind Vegas’ volcano sits RHUMBAR, featuring a Caribean outdoor patio. The menu boasts top-shelf rums, frozen daiquiris, mojitos, along with a collection of cigars and hookah. This spot offers the perfect environment for large groups or a couple of friends just hanging out.

5. BOUND

If you are looking for a lounge in the heart of The Strip, BOUND, located at The Cromwell is your place. Here you will get a curated menu of cocktails, appetizers, and pizza. My recommendation is to give the Tennessee Squirrel a try featuring Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Whiskey, Amaretto Disaronno, fresh passion fruit, lemon juice and toasted almonds.

6. The Laundry Room

Be sure to make your reservation before attempting to visit our final spot. You won’t see beer or wine on the menu as you step into the past at The Laundry Room, an invitation-only speakeasy, in Downtown Las Vegas. Here you will not find bartenders, you will find wizards and magicians helping you discover flawlessly crafted cocktails made to blow your mind. The prestige, ambient atmosphere is one-of-a-kind. It sits atop the list of hidden gems in the entire valley.
